This is the Iran Election Telecast for 2021. Ebrahim Raeisi will be running against a number of candidates including Hemmati, who is expected to be one of his toughest competitors as well as Mohsen Rezaei, an independent candidate. The debates feature all candidates who run for president against other candidates from various political parties. After debating with each candidate in a televised show, Iranian people vote for their candidates and elect Iran’s president for the next 4 years. Iran 1400 was a televised debate between some candidates running for President. The debate was held on state-run television, which had become a key component of Iranian campaign financing. Iran 1400 was held at the IRIB on sanctions and how to support a potential arms embargo against Iran.
